Sleep Lab
One third of our lives is typically spent sleeping and the quality of the other two thirds is often affected by it
Weatherford Regional Hospital offers both inpatient and at-home sleep lab studies to provide overnight diagnostic testing for sleep disorders. Performed by a registered sleep technologist and interpreted by qualified physicians, the Sleep Center provides testing used to diagnose sleep apnea as well as other sleep disorders such as restless legs, insomnia, and narcolepsy.
Sleep is an important aspect to overall health. With a large portion of life spent sleeping, sleep disorders can cause many health issues.
Weatherford Regional Hospital offers sleep studies to our patients in order to diagnose sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, insomnia, narcolepsy, and many more. Once a diagnosis is made, a provider is able to discuss appropirate treatments available.
Weatherford Regional Hospital offers both in-lab and at-home sleep studies for our patients. While some tests may specifically require an inpatient overnight stay, many can be done from the comfort of your own home. Both in-lab and the home sleep test are interpreted by qualified physicians.
The in-lab studies are performed by a registered sleep technologist during an overnight stay. The sleep rooms are large, quiet, and equipped with private bathrooms to provide the most comfort possible during an overnight stay. For additional information on what to expect, please contact our sleep lab center.
If your sleep is not as it should be, talk to your healthcare provider to determine if a sleep study is right for you. To have a sleep study performed, you must have a physician order. For additional information, please contact our sleep lab department.
